High-throughput untargeted metabolomics analysis by HPLC-MS/MS method provides unbiased detection of all small molecule metabolites in extracellular vesicles. The differential metabolites were then screened using statistical analysis, followed by differential analysis using PCA (principal component analysis) and heat map functions, and metabolic pathways of the differential metabolites to identify the relative relationships between metabolites and physiological and pathological changes.
